Animals are more than ever a test of our character, of mankind’s capacity for empathy and for decent, honorable conduct and faithful stewardship. We are called to treat them with kindness, not because they have rights, power or a claim to equality, but in a sense, because they don’t. They all stand unequal and powerless before us.

About Us

Lulu’s Rescue founded in 2010, is an all-breed, inclusive dog rescue with 501c3 non-profit status.

Our mission is to end the daily killing of thousands of adoptable dogs in the US and to break the cycle of homelessness through spay/neuter outreach, humane education, and rescue efforts. We, along with a dedicated group of volunteers and supporters, bring a vast range of experience and an unwavering commitment to the promotion of compassionate care as an end to animal suffering.

*Lulu’s is an extremely small, and mighty, non-profit. Please allow 24-48 hours for an initial response time as we help death row dogs and owner surrenders. Lulu’s communicates primarily by email unless it is an emergent situation.

Thank you for supporting our mission of rescue, spay/neuter and education.
