Lulu's mission is to end the daily killing of thousands of adoptable dogs in the U.S. by combining spay/neuter, education, and rescue.

What Would You Like to Do?

Who We Are

Lulu’s Rescue, founded in 2010, is a homeless dog rescue group comprised of dedicated members with over 30 collective years in rescue, foster, and adoption placement. We are an all-breed inclusive rescue advocating on behalf of all dogs and an officially recognized 501c3 non-profit.

Our mission is to end the daily killing of thousands of adoptable dogs in the US and to break the cycle of homelessness through spay/neuter outreach, humane education, and rescue efforts. We are committed to finding the best homes for these amazing creatures, ones in which they can flourish and live out their natural lives surrounded by loving care and kindness.

Thank you for supporting our mission of rescue, spay/neuter, and education.

Animals are more than ever a test of our character, of mankind’s capacity for empathy and for decent, honorable conduct and faithful stewardship. We are called to treat them with kindness, not because they have rights, power or a claim to equality, but in a sense, because they don’t. They all stand unequal and powerless before us.
— Matthew Scully, speechwriter to George W. Bush and author of Dominion: The Power of Man, The Suffering of Animals, and The Call to Mercy

Why We Do What We Do

14,000 dogs die a day at our animal control facilities. This is a short documentary that exhibits the challenges facing dogs and the people that support them.
