Typical costs associated with rescuing one dog include:
$35 — Vaccine
$50 — Heartworm test
$50 — Microchip
$90 — Health certificate and exam
$150 — Neuter surgery
$185 — Transport to Pennsylvania
$200 — Spay
$400 — Sponsorship of One Dog to fully vet him/her and transport to Pennsylvania
Additional expenses
$155 — Boarding for one week when fosters are not available
$30 — Heartworm preventative & one flea tick treatment
Varying $ — Leashes, collars, crates, food, and toys
